Characteristics of the garage overhead gates

Practical use
Thanks to the individually designed for your garage overhead doors clamping system and the precise movement of the wings in the guide rails, opening and closing of the gate proceed easily and stable. There’s only a little physical strength required to open the doors. Only at the large-sized doors is the installation of a door drive recommended. Because of the classic look of the doors, they will fit well with most of the buildings. The gaskets are made of carefully selected material and mounted on the door wing provide thermal insulation and ensure a quiet operation of the gate.

Durability
All steel parts of the doors are coated with zinc. Since the elements are screwed together, the occurrence of corrosion is avoided, which often appears on welding connections. The application of a coat of acrylic on the metal sheet also avoids corrosion. An additional protection for the doors during transportation and installation is a protective film. By using high quality materials, our doors retain an aesthetic appearance for a long time. As the tension of the springs decreases with time, it can be edited individually. In the case of a damage of the covering, there is a possibility to exchange the metal sheet easily.

Security
Two sets of springs located on either side ensure a safe use of the doors. Even in the case of a rupture of one of the springs, the door does not fall down by itself, as it is still held by the other springs. The doors work precisely in the guide rails on rollers made of durable material which prevents a possible falling out of the doors. They are equipped with a high quality cylinder lock. The use of two safety locks protects the door against burglary.

Extras
The POL-BRAM garage gate can be modified according to the customer’s requirements. Besides manufacturing of the doors to the desired dimensions, there is also the possibility of the addition of extras that meet the needs of the customer. Overhead gates can be equipped with thermal and acoustic insulation. A polystyrene layer and a PVC-panel provide more warmth and quiet inside of the room. A door in the gate can facilitate access to the garage without the need of lifting up the whole gate. We can make a front door located next to the garage gate with an identical covering as the gateway. With a wide range of colors you can match the color of the gate to the color of the facade.
